Baby Sitting
Babysitting Services are provided 24 hours a day with advance reservations. All babysitters are licensed and bonded.
Concierge
Our onsite Concierge provides a wide variety of information on local events, as well as recommending day trips from shopping to scuba diving, making dinner reservations, arranging tee times, and acquiring theater & attraction tickets.
Credit Cards and Monetary Funds
American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover are accepted for payment and to establish room charging privileges. Debit cards are accepted for deposits and payment on departure, but are not recommended to establish charging privileges; please inquire regarding serious consequences of use. Guests may cash Travelers' Checks up to $100 per day, and foreign currency exchange is available at the Concierge desk. An ATM machine is available onsite for your convenience.
Dry Cleaning and Laundry
Dry cleaning valet service is available through the Concierge and coin-operated laundry facilities are available in several resort locations.
Express Video Check-out
Through their television screen, guests are able to check out from 6 am – 11 am from their room, provided charging privileges were established upon arrival.
Onsite Reservations Office
A team of friendly vacation advisors is located at the resort to make room reservations or to answer any questions on accommodations, resort activities, and area attractions. Just call 800-360-4016.
Recycling and Conservation
As a certified Florida Green Lodge, we are as environmentally conscious as possible and encourage our guests to join our efforts. Recycling containers are located throughout the resort, housekeepers will recycle newspapers and cans left on your counters, and a towel and linen reuse program is just another example of our green initiatives. TradeWinds was also the first resort in the state to retrofit their beach lighting to be turtle friendly.
Room Service and Gift Baskets
Room service is available daily from 6:00 am until 11:00 pm. For celebrations at the resort, call ahead and arrange for a gift basket or special amenity to be delivered to the room.
Security
The resort provides 24-hour security personnel and gated entry into the resort. Special requirements for meeting room security should be made in advance with a convention services manager.
Services for the Disabled
A number of handicapped-accessible rooms and suites are available and may be reserved through our on-site reservations office. We can also arrange for auxiliary aids, beach wheelchairs and more upon request.
Transportation
Located in the Island Grand lobby, Resort Transportation Services maintains a fleet of sedans, mini vans, shuttle bus and mini-coach for airport transportation or excursions throughout the Bay area. You may call toll free 866.403.3303 for advance reservations.
Super Shuttle International is available for airport transportation; call toll free 800.258.3826 (no reservation required out of the airport). Hertz car rental is located at Island Grand, and the Suncoast Beach Trolley, with all day passes available, runs approximately 26 miles along Gulf Boulevard for sightseeing excursions, while the St. Petersburg Looper Trolley stops throughout the downtown area for convenient access to some the area’s most popular destinations.
